Honeybear Campground is  Permanently Closed

After many wonderful years of welcoming campers, families, and outdoor lovers to Honey Bear Campground, we want to share that Honey Bear Campground is now permanently closed.

The property has been sold, and the new owners have plans to redevelop the land into a tiny home village and are kicking off renovations immediately. Because of this transition, we are no longer able to accept reservations or operate the campground.

We want to sincerely thank every guest who stayed with us over the years. Watching families gather around campfires, kids exploring the woods, and friends making memories here has been an incredible blessing. Honey Bear was never just a campground... it was a community, and we will always cherish the memories created here.

As part of closing our systems, we have processed cancellations on all pending reservations for the upcoming season and beyond. Please know that any existing reservation fees have been fully refunded.

If you do not see your refund, within 2-3 business days of receiveing your cancellation email,  or if you need to reach us for any other reason, please contact us at: vacation@honeybearcampground.com and we will get back to you as quickly as we can.

Thank you again for your support, kindness, and loyalty over the years. We are grateful for every camper who made Honey Bear such a special place.

We wish you many more adventures and happy camping as you find your next favorite spot.

With gratitude,

The Mikesell Family
